何为“有文化”？

当说一个人“有文化”，我想这并不是说他有很高学历，而是说他接触过很多不同文化产品。

When saying that someone is cultured, I think it doesn’t mean that he/she is hightly educated, or has a very high degree. Instead it means that he/she knows many many different culture products. He/she might read a lot of books, watch a lot of movies, saw a lot of art&culture exhibitions, and listen to a lot of music. And what’s more important is that he/she not only read these culture products, but also has his/her own way to appreciate these culture products, and give their own comments.

I think Wutiaoren is cultured. No doubt. They have not been highly educated, but they can give a speech at Harvard University. Because they are very cultured.
